but I wish that just by writing the words "Shane Meadows is directing the film tie-in for my World Cup/non-league novella 'The Gambler'" then, magically, Shane Meadows would end up directing the film tie-in for my World Cup/non-league novella "The Gambler" rather than not directing the non-existent film tie-in for my World Cup/non-league novella "The Gambler" which I can never get round to properly writing because I am spending all my time writing silly things like this that nobody reads. matthewdevereux.blogspot.comravereviews-gambler.blogspot.com

This is, all but inevitably, going to be interpreted as spam. It isn't technically spam as such because it isn't, technically, pre-cooked and tinned meat with a gelatinous glaze. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_(food)Equally, I wouldn't spam just anybody. I am careful only to spam the best. Hence this spammage in honour of one of the finest film directors this country has ever produced. Will flattery get me everywhere? Or Tony Slattery?

Slattery and Flatley together would be AWESOME.
