Oooo! A nice bit of rotation I'm guessing!

That's one of the tiny little aspects of your 2009: A Space O.A.P. I really loved. The short shot of the hand rotating the release valve! Smooth!

Thanks Dave! ;D Yeah that was four drawings of a hand. I could've done more if I wanted it to be smoother but the rough and ready style I appear to have arrived at covers many sins! ;)

There'll be more rotation in the opening title animation than you can shake a rotary washing line at. When it's loads of rain drops on it. And they all fall off. Why is that so satisfying?

Cheers guys!

I'm now past the minute mark! 35 secs to go. Easy! If I can just stop myself from day dreaming! ;)

Major displacement activities:
Day dreaming.
Making a cup of tea.
Checking on the spiderling ball in my garden. All gone! :'(

Uh!? Oh and day dreaming...

Fin 8-)

That's French for 'The End'. They use in their films they do. Yeah and it's also an appendage that fish and dolphins have but that's by the by...

I'm using it coz I've finished the animation! I dunned it. ;D A dream job of a life time and I reached the finish line in cheesy slomo, big grimace, arms held high, my luscious mane writhing in the breeze as I shake my sweaty face from side to side.

After many late nights. An equal amount of very early mornings. Drawing in my lunch hours at work. Taking loads of annual leave. It's done. And everyone's really happy with it! There were a few changes needed along the way but none that gave me any grey hairs.

Shane Meadows came round to my actual house today (Sat) and talked me through a few final tweaks including how it needed to end! And The Man's coming round again tomorrow (Sun)! He's personally taking the file down to LenDon so it it can be all laid out by the wizards at The Mill.

Thanks for all your encouragement and inspiration fellow forummers. I'm in an amazing place at the moment and you've helped put me there. Sincere thanks to you all. ;D

And of course a massive thanks to Shane and Jo, and Mark and everyone else for taking a punt on me! A bit of a shot in the dark for them when you think about it! hopefully it's all going to pay off and what I've done will go into the mix and add to Le Donk's assured success. It's such a great film with loads of heart and soul and some truly side-splitting moments.

To be a part of this is astonishing and fantastic! ;D

Cheers!

Bill.

CHeers everyone! ;D

I did a quick hovering up, saffy, to remove the two months worth of... that unknown layer of shit that builds up!? Where does it all come from? But that was it! Oh and a quick burst of Nuetrodol to eliminate any lingering fart odours that might seek to ambush Mr Meadows and cause embarrassment.

I was pretty nervous before Shane arrived but he's such a friendly, down-to-earth chap that any nervousness on my part was soon forgotten. We cracked on with business and I got to hear a few details about Shane's up and coming projects.

I also got a bag full of signed ggodies! A signed copy of the Small Time VHS included! As well as signed copies of the 24/7 script book and Romeo Brass script book! Both books have got awesome introductions by Shane. Amazing...

I'm drafting up and email to A&J at the moment, Dave. It's such a great story. I hope it gets read out at the very least. A bit of publicity for Le Donk is only good.

I'm hoping to hear from Shane tomorrow to let me know how it went at The Mill. When it's in well that's it. It's in. Ooh I'm getting all profound! ::)

Yeah, I echo that! Good man, indeed! I'm really looking forward to seeing what you've done Bill. You must be knackered, but sublimely happy....perfect state!
