 Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee on the small screen (DVD)
« Thread Started on Sept 8, 2009, 3:11pm »

The DVD cover art seems to be about on some shop sites:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Donk-Scor-Zay-Ze....1&creative=8942

The HMV site lists extras features as:

* Feature trailer
* Bigger Things Trailer
* Edinburgh international Film Festival Special Footage
* Deleted scenes

Not too much going on there... but then Shane did mention that there is a special edition planned for the xmas or the new year.
Makes sense, as this DVD is clearly designed mostly for people who will be unable to get to see it in the cinema due to the small release.

hmmm should we hold off this DVD then if we get to see it? ???

What, and miss the chance of possibly seeing Bill's beaming mug on the EDIFF feature? I don't think so.

I will have to watch on DVD, but now I am torn whether to buy this one, or wait for the special edition? I want to watch NOW, but I will want the special edition when that comes out. Could be in my Christmas stocking. :)

Hmmm...

Just noticed that there is a very odd video from Le Donk on the Amazon page which runs at a whopping 12 seconds! He's bashing on the Rock Band Beatles drumkit if I'm not much mistaken!

Special edition won't be out at xmas. It will be some point next year. Easter at the earliest I'm afraid. X.

also any recommendations on radio mics would be good, if possible

I don't know if Shane is using the same one guys, but it looks like something similar to the CVP SM1 Shoulder Mount. It costs £80.50 on mitcorps website. You can view it here: http://www.mitcorp.com/public/view_item_....-HDV-camcorders

I'll have to check the mount out when I go into the office. All I can remember without looking is that it came from a guy who built them in Israel....

Got my lovely signed copy from Nottingham HMV yesterday. My partner went on an errand for me! ;D Couldn't get the time off work myself...

The menus took me by surprise! Ha! They're brilliant! I can't take any credit for the animation of them but whoever did them did a great job. Love the 'Extras' button and where 'Play' is.

"Juicy leaves" indeed! It's the new office saying. Can be applied to anything...
