After just trying to find out about any forthcoming international releases for Dead Man's Shoes, I managed to stumble across a one star review for the film! I don't think I've ever seen that before! Maybe a thread with links to bad reviews would amuse all us fans, who can read them safe in the knowledge that we are far superior to the plonkers that have written them.  Could stir up some discussions anyway.. always a good thing! weird, he has such a bad argument for why its a bad film, he says its confusing but never explains why, he says gary strech was the only good performance in the film (it was a great performance, but not the ONLY one by far, what about paddy?) what a fool of a reviewer. He aso seems to think Northern Soul is un-funny.. what IS he? this review has angered me.. grrr  |

The review is from a UK site, so chances are it's written by one of our own Great British idiots. We don't have to look overseas for fools when we have some of the world's greatest plonkers sat right on our own doorstep. |

Well, when I'm at work (as I am now), I often get bored and end up coming up with some nice and stupid ideas! Anyway, you shouldn't be looking Shane! You were warned in the thread title. I am genuinely intrigued to read bad reviews of films I enjoy, just to see where the reviewer is coming from, and what their point is. I remember the reviews that didn't rate Romeo Brass were mostly of the usual, cliched type whereby they proclaim that: "... the film doesn't know whether it wants to be a comedy or a drama, so I became confused and sulked for the rest of the film". What a bunch of charlies. Don't have a go at Beadle! The lad's been dealt a bad hand. |
