Hi all just sorting through a pile of movie posters and banners from my cinema days separating good (28 days later) from bad (xXx) for boot sale/ebay. Got me thinking what is your favourite movie poster that you own?
Die Another Day (walther on ice one sheet teaser)
obviously doesnt have to be favourite film!

Not just because it's one of shane's, but I do love the DEAD MAN'S SHOES poster - it reminds me of one of the old UK video covers for TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE. check it out: www.pre-cert.co.uk/cgi-bin/cms/Film/30731

I've got the original poster for the cinema release of Peter Jackson's Braindead!
Also got the tenth anniversary Withnail and I re-release cinema poster.
Got loads of posters due to working at cinemas for years, not even sure what they all are now.

Never really kept up with collecting posters; used to have stacks as a kid - a mate and I used to go on the ponce, regularly, taking in all the video shops, off licences and cinemas in our area.
Original posters I have got include:
US-Style 1 Sheets
Cat People (1982) Out Of Sight (signed by Steven Soderbergh) Eyes Wide Shut Night Caller (aka Fear Over The City) Stendhal Syndrome (signed by Asai Argento)
Reprints
The Shining Get Carter (Signed by Mike Hodges)
Cant think of any others...

I love the Manhattan poster, with the shot of Woody Allen and Dianne Keaton and the bridge in the background. Such a beautiful shot.

I remember when Star Wars Episode One was released (the film's the worst in the saga without doubt), I thought the teaser poster was very good.
Innocent young Anakin Skywalker with the Shadow of Darth Vader.

I remember when Star Wars Episode One was released (the film's the worst in the saga without doubt), I thought the teaser poster was very good. Innocent young Anakin Skywalker with the Shadow of Darth Vader. Think I have one of those.... there were two versions though. The first version just had the shadow stretching out on the ground behind Skywalker, and it was hard to tell that the shadow was actually Darth. Second version they slapped little building behind him so that the shadow was upright on the wall of the building and easier to notice. The first Spiderman film had teaser posters of a big web spun between the twin towers. September 11th happened and they were all re-called. Bet they are worth some money now.
