Spoke to sony, warrenty has gone but £130 and they will replace, but reading above and elsewhere not as staight foward as it sounds, oh well if i dont fix it ive got a new hairdryer.

Aye, mine cost about that to replace when mine yellowed. It's louder than the 360 these days.
Anyway, all this unemployment has given me time to actually finish games. Arkham Asylum, GTA IV, both Mass Effects and erm... nope, that's it. Pro Evo and FIFA demos are hitting today. I've got to buy Pro Evo for review purposes, apparently.

Well not having my Playstation has made me pull out my old mega drive and play all my old games like sonic, moonwalker, ecco the dolphin, FIFA 96 and what a game that is, has not aged well at all, and to think back then we thought football games wouldnt get better than this haha.
Talking about original sonic games ive just heard that they have made sonic 4 for download which like what they have done with Mario on the Wii previously have gone to the original game looks like some retro fun.

Can't wait for LBP2! I've just started a Lovefilm trial as well, been renting some Blu-Rays. Last time I was a Lovefilm member I didn't have a PS3 so I couldn't have done that! My own meagre collection of Blu-Rays consists of:
Talladega Nights (which forum member pointblank gave me) Highlander (Christmas present from my girlfriend) The Hangover (Christmas present from my sister) Chasing Amy (I bought this one myself!)
I've rented Four Lions and Cemetery Junction this week.

I can't recall who PS3 user names I know. I definitely have Hyde on my friends list.
I'm BlueCrayon77 if anyone wants to add me.
I want LBP2 too! Left LBP alone a long time ago now, but I'm ready for more. Made any levels Mr Coyle? I made two, one was pretty good.

I haven't, Dave, I'm not the tinkerer you are! I've only nipped in to the level creator, it was all too advanced and expansive for me. I'll have a play of yours, what's it called? I'm pc83uk, I'll add you next time I'm at home.

Shindig1984.
My solitary Blu Ray is still Casino Royale which, frankly, I'm not buggered about. I can't be that bothered with the PS3 as a blu ray player to begin with. Plus, if I make a big deal about it, my dad will wind up buying a Blu Ray player that he doesn't really need.

Used to be Sony all the way up until I got my 360 2 years ago and turned to the dark side haha. Who's looking forward to Black Ops??

I packed in Call of Duty after Mordern Warfare. I never put the time in on multiplayer to make it worthwhile.
Finished off Bioshock 2 yesterday. It didn't really get going til the last act but it hit a high note once it did. Can't wait for Bioshock Infinite.

The asda stores in Arnold, Hyson Green & Bridgeford had all sold out. The Tesco in Carlton had sold out. HMV and Game charge an extra tenner at least than the others.. Sainsburys had 3 left, and me and the guy behind me snapped them up.
Fifa 11, I finally got you.

ayyy I'm back in the club now!
ha ha. I have actually been playing a PS3 game. Only cos my bro downloaded it and there was no point in downloading it onto the Wii too!
Sonic 4: Episode 1. Really enjoyed this, I'm on the last boss now. Always loved all of the Mega Drive Sonic games. There's a lot of old stuff remade in this game, but completely different level layout. So it's kind of like what the old games would have looked like if they came out now. There's definitely the old magic intact, figuring out attack patterns and level layouts. Simple, effective fun. A lot of it is pretty tough too! Music is not as great as the old games. Having said that, there is some good tunes. Loving it though, looking forward to the next one. Hopefully gonna get Sonic Colours too.
Just got Donkey Kong Returns as a early birthday present, looking forward to collecting all those bananas!
Also got Goldeneye on order, hoping to enjoy some multiplayer fun. Got the game and another classic controller from Play.com for 33 quid bargain! Taking ages to get here though.. if it's not here tomorrow Play will be getting an angry email/phonecall.
Also been playing Steets of Rage 3. Good, but really hard, even on easy! Not as good as 2.

I have just completed Halo reach and I would say it is one of if not the best games of all time. The part where you discover the rocket pack is just jaw dropping as is the unusual ending. Xbox classic
