Hi all, Just found this thread after randomly googling "Hull to Hornsea" after remembering downloading it from BT's "getoutthere" website about 10 years ago.
You can see the film on YouTube here:
I watched it for the first time tonight after all these years. It's definitely the same one by Kevin Walton that you were talking about. Starts off at Hull Railway Station with a chap with a Hull accent announcing the train, that's what I remembered the most.
Very spookily indeed, I've just watched Twentyfour Seven and found this site looking for something completely different.
Hope this helps and seeing the short again brings back some good memories, it did for me.

Welcome h2h.
Nicely found! I did finally find the version that the director uploaded himself, but I had forgotten all about updating this thread.
I still love watching it!

I tell you what, that short film is great! I live in Hull and often bike along the track all the way to Hornsea and back. I wonder when it was filmed 'cos the track has been substantially updated with tarmac and widened in parts.
When I started reading the thread I was going to suggest you try Hull Film (www.hullfilm.co.uk) to track it down but obviously you've got it.
Anymore gems like this, get 'em posted!
