I was just thinking.... Who knows where one, many, or all locations for Shane's films are? We could build a fun tour using Google streetview. I don't know where any of it was filmed... even though I was there for little bit of This Is England! Doh! So, if you know of any of the locations, go to Google maps: maps.google.co.uk/maps..find the location, switch to streeview and away you go. You can post the streetview link in this thread. I just tried to find the lovely sea-side signage for Chapel St' Leonards as seen in A Room For Romeo Brass. I have a vague memory of someone on here saying that sign has gone now. Either way, I couldn't find it. Best I could manage was a distant shot of the back of some chalets! Woohoo! maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=chapel+st+leonards&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=11.771131,39.506836&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Chapel+Saint+Leonards,+Skegness,+Lincolnshire,+United+Kingdom&ll=53.226192,0.31678&spn=0.005871,0.01929&z=16&layer=c&cbll=53.233452,0.338406&panoid=dLDXbnBzSiFqokD7JbFMpw&cbp=12,143.54,,0,5.5

Okay, so maybe this isn't such a great idea considering the best view of Riber Castle (Dead Man's Shoes) I can find is this laughable effort! maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=riber+castle&sll=53.127989,-1.541884&sspn=0.005832,0.01929&ie=UTF8&split=1&filter=0&rq=1&ev=zo&radius=0.4&hq=riber+castle&hnear=&ll=53.125376,-1.542871&spn=0,359.98071&t=h&z=16&layer=c&cbll=53.125577,-1.542413&panoid=_PpKJjD9p2mN_J3xu97eWQ&cbp=12,355.36,,0,-0.91

Good idea Dave... The Chapel St Leonards sign is long gone now, replaced now with your standard issue black lettering on white background.
The car park there on your image was used in the film I believe, the building is new I think but the film featured the original building, I believe it had writing on the roof... something like Mary's cafe... I could be miles out.
Also thats the car park in which I met forum member Rich... and no I don't make a habbit of meeting men on the internet in car parks...

A contribution from me. What you've got to understand is this aint London right, this aint even Nottingham. This is Sneinton ;D O.K. mixing up the films, but here's Sneinton Market-scene of the Ronnie's rumble (or was it? That's interesting-always assumed the whole thing was filmed in Calverton. Did you go to that school? This is an obscure one. This is where Darcy takes his auntie Iris for a picnic just before they go dancing. It's barely avoided being swallowed up in the current M1 widening at J26. maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Nuthall+nottingham&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=13.127023,39.418945&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Nuthall,+Nottingham,+United+Kingdom&ll=52.993604,-1.232365&spn=0,359.997594&z=19&layer=c&cbll=52.993421,-1.232364&panoid=skqVUN0moTZNw2mjxLfwSQ&cbp=12,304.75,,1,-5.02
