As we all love the Midlands (obviously), and Shane's films celebrate some of the comedy to be found in everyday life i I thought I'd mention MC Pitman . . . he's funny as fukk!
He heralds from Coalville, about 4 miles from where I was brought up, and he's Midlands and proud!
Imagine some fella rapping in his native East Midlands accent, about working down the mines, having cups of tea, and generally dissing others and you're half way there . . . I find it hilarious.
Let me know what you all think . . .

Im really proud to be part of DMS. The feeling i had whilst watching it for the first time in the cinema was amazing. I remember thinking to myself, if i never make another film or decide not to act again, my dream has come true. jo, you're in the sequence that really gets me every time I see the film, when anthony is being tortured at riber castle and it cuts to your reactions on the stairs . . . along with the music of arvo part it never fails to tear me apart. i hope you continue with the acting, it would be a shame if you didn't. peace out!

Hey y'all, I managed to get a copy of the DMS graphic novel in the end, through the magic that is ebay . . . As I'm a sucker for graphic novels anyway, I enjoyed it, and especially love the last frame of the book . . . "I just want to lie with my brother" . . .

Ay'up!
Just arrived here . . . glad to see the there's so much support for Mr.Meadow's . . .fantastic director who actually recognises the the Midlands(!), where I was born and raised.
Anyway, intro done. I have only just discovered there is a DMS graphic novel since buying the DVD . . . and considering DMS has stood the test of time, and is still my favorite film, and I love graphic novels, I am desperate to read it!!
Can anyone help???! It is no longer available through Warp and other usual places . . .
Cheers
