Not sure if theres any legalities from making this possible. How great would it be if Shane needed a hundred or so background extras for one of his future projects. I'm sure all the guys and gals on here would be willing to help out.

I guess you are thinking along the lines of Shaun of the Dead where they got loads of fans from the website to be zombie extras! Would be a cool idea, but from Shane's point of view, I imagine it would be just be an added worry to the film-making process, not knowing who the hell is going to turn up and how nutty they may be! haha

I finks it adds to the theme of Shanes films just being normal everyday meadows manics as extras. Did you know when they filmed whistle down the wind with Hayley Mills all the kids in that are just local village kids and thats a class film.

I can see why the Office is funny, but it simply doesnt make me laugh, apart form his dance that is very very funny.

This would be brilliant to be an extra in one of Shane's films if it was possible, I guess it could be possibly if he made king of the gypsys and needed a large crowd. They are actually doing something like this on Nick Love's new film, what they are doing is fans are donating a certain amount to the film and getting a place as an extra a hoody and credited as Executive producer on the movie.

I noticed that too, mate- shane, you ever fancy trying your hand at raising some extra cash for a film, by doing a similar thing to what Nick Love has done on Outlaw, you know you can count on the majority of us to help you out, mate. Don't know if we can raise the 9 mil needed for Gypsies, but as they say at Tesco: Every Little Helps...

I know exactly what you mean dude, I was over there this weekend and must have seen at least 3 scraps while I was out. Live in Manchester now though. I have been out in Preston a couple of times, went to the warehouse, was cool.
