according to the Observer Music Monthly it's Oi! This Is England - is this right or have they got the wrong end of the stick?
As someone who flirted with the Oi scene for a very brief time it always amused me how Bushell attempted to deflect accusations of racism (cover models being BM 'leaderguards' ho ho) by including the likes of Daley Thompson as 'heroes' on the Oi LP liner notes - hey how can I be racist when I'm bigging up Daley? He knew what was gonna come his way and to be fair Oi was an incredibly racist movement which is why the Rejects/Upstarts etc distanced themselves from it asap. I have have had a skin but me and my mates painted Who Killed Liddell Towers - Police in five foot high letters right across the back of our youthy. Right On!
