Im referring when they were the big arty band or something (correct me if Im wrong)

Basically, I saw smalltime when it was on tv years ago and loved the music in the film. a few years later i bought the sunhouse album which was okay but nothing like the tunes featured in the film.

They should release the soundtrack as an album

I'd love to get hold of the soundtrack to 'Smalltime' and 'Romeo Brass', some wonderful songs.
The scene in 'Smalltime' where Malc and his woman are dancing on the beach, the song that is playing there is the one i really want. Fantastic.

I don't know where the master recordings went for Smalltime. I'm sure someone must have them somewhere. It would make a great extra for the DVD to include the original recordings and maybe include some kind of commentary about how the band came together for that one week to record everything and then went on to become Sunhouse etc.
