I think it is a very good idea but I have found that it is quite hard to happen upon podcasts unless your already a fan of that particular 'thing'

I think it is a very good idea but I have found that it is quite hard to happen upon podcasts unless your already a fan of that particular 'thing' That's true. On occasion I try to find out about a podcast I have never heard of, and try random ones..... but they are invariably shite, so I just stick to what I know. Hyde's in a cheeky mood then I see. A podcast could be good for Shane, but then it can seem a bit self-indulgent, especially if there isn't much to say in a particular week. I did mention the idea of a video blog (vlog!) a while back, which could work when the cast go to festivals/premieres of This Is England. Gadge and Kezz seemed like they may do it using their video phones. Could be fun!

I've gotta confess that i find the gervais/merchant/pilkington podcasts are funny as ! Pilkington was up until recently the countries best kept secret, the man's mind is a whirlpool of nonsensical genius ! Fuelled naturally by Gervais' promptings...pure class

But in the most recent podcasts, Karl is definitely acting it up a storm, whereas in the old days he seemed genuinely bewildered and stupid.

...erm yeah thanks for that. Come Hyde... how difficult is Google to use? www.rickygervais.com/newseries.php#download This should give links to Itunes links to the 12 Guardian podcasts and the the following 6 Audible.com podcasts. I think you have to pay for all of them now, although originally the first 12 were free. www.xfm.co.uk/sectional.asp?id=4604 A good load of downloads at XFM from where it all began. They did absolutely tonnes of shows on XFM over the years! The book that is coming out is "Ricky Gervais presents the World of Karl Pilkington". Should be amazing nonsense... although I will have heard it all before on the radio shows and podcasts. ;D
