New to site - Long time Meadows fan

Morning All, new to the forum but been reading the messages over the past few weeks, finally got round to registering. Great great site that i think is a great reference point more than anything to the most important film maker in the British film industry.
Been a big fan since seeing 24/7 at the Broadway in Hockley back in 97.
Hailing from Nottingham ive never seen so many films that i can relate to so easily. Films historically just dont get made in Nottingham with Nottingham people and that accent. Currently living in Aus for a while until Forest get back up the league. Managed to catch DMS at the cinema before i left in 2004 on opening night. Aside from me and my girlfriend there was 2 other people in the theatre (admittadly it was in a cinema in cockney land) The film has really grown in popularity through word of mouth i reckon. It was shown out here at the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2005 and received a rousing round of applause at the end you will be glad to hear Shane. I will badger them to get This is England shown at next years festival.
As for the future projects This is England looks great obviously and the soundtrack interests me just as much as the film itself.
Surprised Shane you havent made a film yet on the life and times of Jimmy Sirrell? Could be titled "The Making of Legoland"?
Anyway, its great to see so many people enthusing about these great films that will definitely stand the test of time. Thought i was in the minoroty but that clearly aint the case.
