i know most of us will rush out to see TIE as soon as it hits cinemas but unfortunately i'm gonna have to wait for the dvd release to see TIE (crap medical reasons) can i suggest extending spoiler watch till then not neccessarily deleting messages just tagging a warning on them would be enough ps this will be the first of shanes films i wont see at the cinema except smalltime and i'm gutted so take pity and be considerate with your spoiler warnings cheers,Q

You're right Quixote.... spoiler watch will continue indefinitely as far as I'm concerned. I still like to keep an eye out for spoilers for Shane's earlier films, and have added a spoiler warning to a few posts in the Dead Man's Shoes and Romeo Brass threads. Obviously this site isn't just for long-term fans of Shane's films, it's for new-comers too. Therefore, people who are just looking into Shane's back catalogue of films for the first time shouldn't have their future viewings spoilt!

The powers are even trying to erase the past, and control our minds....Soon all forms of free speech will be banned along with newspapers, tv and radio. We will only know what they want us to know.
Soon underground off shoots of this site will begin to appear online, trying to bring down the regime.
I am a free man.

If I hadn't seen Dead Man's Shoes, I wouldn't read threads like "What was your favourite bit of Dead Man's Shoes?"

No worries Dave!!
I'm keeping my eagle eyes peeled for offending information but none has popped up as yet.

Thus far, apart from cast and crew, there are about three members who have seen the film - and two of them are yourself and miss D. It seems like an easy job, yet it's bound to become hard as fook after the LFF screenings. I'm assuming that come the 1st or 2nd of November, threads with spoiler headings will be allowed for everyone who has seen the film to discuss it?

I'm assuming that come the 1st or 2nd of November, threads with spoiler headings will be allowed for everyone who has seen the film to discuss it? Definitely. It's fine for people to discuss the film and it's plot as long as any spoilers are sign-posted a mile off. People starting any such threads should sign-post any spoilers themselves. Donk and the Sherbert are there to spot any un-marked spoilers (if they occur). Quite a few people must have seen the film in Canada, and one of those people has visited this forum already. Rome Film Fest next isn't it?

My queston isn't "why have the Sherbinator and El Donk been made mods" - my question is how in the hell ahve they seen the film? Pray tell?

Doh! Ignore my last post in this thread- I've just discovered a thread in the THIS IS ENGLAND section!
Note to myself:
Must read more than just "the last film I watched" thread!
Hahaha - nice one, you lucky, lucky stinkers!
...and to think there were people on that other thread speculating about it being me that had seen the film! No such luck... ;D
