titles

after just watching rydds film murder at the skate park i was rather impressed with his titles at the begining, i know most people don't bother too much about the titles but they are after all the intro and cool titles can really grab the audiance (seven anyone) so i would love to hear what programs people use for titles and maybe share any tips. i have had a dabble with adobe after effects but i have only scratched the surface as i am still finding my way around premiere. does anyone know of any programs made just for producing the titles?

The program used for making the titles for Murder At The Skatepark was LiveType. This is a program packaged in with final cut pro. Obviously only availiable to Apple Mac users, dunno if you are one?

If not the only other one i can think of is After Effects, maybe you should try some tutorials for the specific thing you wanna do? Other than this i don't know any title programs.
