Hey all. Just a quick shout out. Colin Can't Be Killed has been accepted to this year's DNA Film Festival in Toronto! Added to my screening last year of Night-Bird, this makes me the first EVER film maker to make this festival two years running. Good eh? Well happy about it. Cheers to you guys also - this was the first place that we spoke about Colin. And it was the support I got from this forum that prompted me to enter it into DNA, so I owe you all a beer (may be a while though - the cost of a round would be a new film budget)! If you want to see Colin again, it's at: www.bringitgiveitfilms.comThis is easily the most supportive and pro-active bunch of film makers and fans I've found online, so let's keep on supporting Shane and each other. Cheers - Tom.

More cool news! Colin Can't be Killed is ace, and the acting suberb (sustaining such close up shots for so long is skillful acting).
Hey.. have you had chance to watch my Bath Abbey 20 minuter? Would like some of your thoughts on it. (Couldn't resist a quick plug! haha).

Cheers Wiggy. Yes - I caught some of the behind the scenes stuff you're shooting online the other day. Good work man. How're the new ideas coming along by the way? Tibb was/is good for you, so I hope that you're coming up with some new projects as well.

i am on with a lot of writing at the moment, firstly the director of what im on we at the moment wants to re-make tash force as a feature in hi def so i have done a lot of re-writing. the thing im most excited about is a script im two thirds through for a feature set in 1990 which is four different stories set around a warehouse party. i think i once mentioned it to you, it at the moment would be way too ambitious for me to film but i have a few irons in the fire. lastly im on the look out for a second hand camera, a sony pd 150 or pd 170 but they are well expensive. here is the best site i have found www.videokit.co.ukif you know of any other good sites i would appreciate any links. anyhow good luck again with the fest. cheerio wiggy ps if you'd like a sneak peek at my script let me kow as i'd like someone elses opinion on it.

..... firstly the director of what im on we at the moment wants to re-make tash force as a feature in hi def so i have done a lot of re-writing. Nice! Tash force is very funny stuff. I have mentioned before, but the guy that plays Tash McDermot is brilliant. When he fiirst appeared in Tibb The Familiar, I couldn't help but have a little flash back to Tash! hehe

Cheers guys. Talking about doing a Colin follow-up... But it's one of those things where I don't want to kill it by deliberately trying to be funny, you know? As it stands I've got one or two ideas kicking around the can, but in the meantime I'm working on getting a new short made.
Won't say too much ('cos with my luck it always falls apart) but someone is interested in putting 'proper' money into a short film of mine, so just chasing that before returning to a Colin part 2.
Wiggy - yes, I remember that warehouse party script you mentioned. Apologies about not responding. Slipped my mind, but let me know what you have when it's done.
Cheers guys - who knows, in a few years time I may have reached the heady heights of directing Deuce Bigalow 3! Ewww.... Ha ha.

Update on this subject - Michael Keogh, the guy behind Colin's broken glasses is going to Toronto to support the film and everything I'm trying to do with Bring It Give It Films. What a star eh? I wish I could go, but I'm so broke it's unfunny. If you have a MySpace, you link up with me: www.myspace.com/bringitgiveitfilms or with Michael via: www.myspace.com/michaelkeoghTo anyone who does link up with Michael, please send him a comment showing some support, because this is the first time the poor lamb has gone abroad alone! Ha ha. Cheers guys. Tom.
