Its been ages since I last posted my film "Out Of Date". So when searching through our old tapes Martin (the director of Out Of Date) and I found a film we made in the first year of University called "The Two Quid Kid", it centers around a couple who having lost there child decide to sponsor a child in Africa...
We both co-wrote and co-directed the piece and cast my Dad as Ernie.
Let me know what you all think... bare in mind it was filmed in 2005 aswell!
After watching it be sure to check out Martins college films "Sock It 2 'Em" and "Weston Experimental" (nothing to do with Daves press hitting film!) you can view them from looking at his account by clicking "martmanspam", you can also re-watch "Out Of Date" on there aswell (which will soon be one in one peice).
I'm soon getting my college films uploaded so look out for them.

Two Quid kid! That was a bloody good story there. It worked really well. The pace was pretty much perfect, and I was caught up in it from the very first line. Nice!
Not seen the others yet.

I agree with Ryd and Dave although I thought the quality could have been better.

Well the sound quality and picture quality! not the quality of the actual film!

Ah I see, looks great to me... did anyone else have any problems with it?
Thanks for bringing that up Hyde!

It might be because I played it loud that it was noticable... so not really worth bringing up.

Just watched "sock it to 'em" some really great ideas in there that made me smile. I do think some shots coulda been cut down a lot, and also some jump cuts could have worked nicely if used stylistically. I didnt really understand the pick up line thing though? just why? Anyway overall good film, i enjoyed it
