Down by the river

I've just been hanging around by a river for about 2 hours in the freezing cold! What a loony!

I have recently been thinking of trying to make a nice little 'ambient' film that isn't about anything and doesn't mean anything... just a collection of nice imagery. Kind of a nod to Kayanisqatsi and other similar things.

I think I remember DazzaB making something in this style too.

Anyway.. all in all, I think I got a nice collection of imagery together for my film. It was great because the longer I was there, the more I started to see things worth filming. I think I started with quite obvious shots of things, but I then started doing odd little close-ups. I think that started to make me look at the area a bit differently.
I had some great luck too! But I won't let on as to what it was.. it will be a surprise! haha
Shouldn't take me long to edit.... however, I can see myself taking a while creating a new soundtrack for it.

Sounds good Dave, yea I have done something when I first started making films with bits and pieces of footage I had collected and tried to make something a bit artistic. Look forward to seeing it on here, water has a real tranquil feel to it.
