The first episode in a series of shorts about Eric, who wears a costume he's fashioned out of Tesco bags.
I can't really say I wrote or directed this, as it is its own beast. But I am the guy behind the camera.... aka "Fatty Bum Bum".

Although it was definitely too long, I did enjoy alot of that.
I particularly liked the sweets/fish bit. The Rocky Balboa poster, and the unexpected cry of "That's deplorable!". Haha.. such rational language from a character that was otherwise more than happy to swear it up.
In my opinion, Eric would have been better without the comedy voice. His high-pitched whine just makes people instantly think 'Student film alert!". Not sure if you agree or not. Keeping mad characters firmly grounded in reality is nearly always funnier. That 'Colin Can't Be Killed' film is a great example.

I liked it, reasonably funny. The voice kinda annoyed me a bit i guess, although it was funny at the beginning. It was clearly very Shane Meadows inspired, the man behind the camera interviewing, odd main character etc.
Loved the bit where the cameraman askes "are you going to use his internet?" and eric just puts his hand out and tilts it ha ha, and the handstand stuff.

Thanks for watching!
Bagman's voice is completely ripped off of "Northern Soul", but Brendan (who plays Eric) doesn't acknowledge it. In fairness, he spent years stoned and doesn't consciously remember even watching Northern Soul... But he still got the voice from it. It's just part of the character he created. One day, when we were trying to come up with something to shoot, he just decided to wear the bags and speak like that. We've tried different styles and being more realistic, but... It is what it is. I've had the same criticism of the voice myself.
It's definitely overlong, due to the room tour bit (and the lengthy bit up to meeting Eric), future instalments won't be. There should be more coming soon, but I'm working on my proper short so dunno how quickly.
The Rocky poster was a bit of luck. We were looking for things to decorate the room, and oddly enough the Rocky poster matched up perfectly with half a poster of a woman's legs.

That was pretty funny Patrick, loved the fact he had the guts to wear a bag thong and was funny when he did the handstand and at the end what he was caught doing in the other guys room. In fairness it was a little long but a good film there mate.
