i added the myspace. Hopefully gonna send one of my films to be screened  ......... I'm actually sending him my Bringing War Home film which will hopefully be screened........ I look forward to watching your films, I'm sure they will be well received . |

Guys - when we screen Icharus Broken, if anyone wants to drop by, I'll gladly give you a place to crash. Hey - even if you just want to get over cos one of your movies is screening, give me a heads up, and I have a couch or inflatable mattress for you's! And I make the best coffee. So if anyone needs a crib to crash in, let me know.

I may take you up on that, Tom... Was gutted I had to miss the night out on Saturday, by all accounts it was a good 'un. But I was a victim of the rubbish rail system in the midlands, my own inability to drive, a non-refundable hotel booking, and a girlfriend I don't see enough of.
I'm looking forward to seeing Mike and Cassie again and meeting you in person for the first time, so the Icharus screening sounds like the perfect opportunity.

No problem man. You're more than welcome. Heard lots of good things about the short by the way, and I'm confident that it'll go down a storm when it's all cut together. Definitely want see it.
Anyways - I'll keep you updated on the screening. And anyone else that wants a place to crash in Derby, let me know.

Just a quick message to add to this, but Dazza B, they screened Bringing War Home last night. And mate - if only you could have seen it!!!
It closed the first half, and it had a great impact, so well done mate. Had seen the film before, but was even better seeing it on a big screen. And if I could replicate the applause you got in tappings on the keyboard, well I would. But I can't. So you'll have to trust me when I say it went down really well. Nice one mate.

Tom thanks a lot for letting me know ;D I so wish I could have been there so much appreciated, it really shows what you can do with an afternoons work.
That film I made one summers afternoon last year when I was bored and cut and edited it in the same evening. It just goes to show that all us film makers out there on a budget can get a film made and an audience to see it. Its thanks to great websites like this and myspace that we can share films and advice.
Thanks again mate for the tip and I hope Icharus Broken blows them away.
