Hullo yes me again,
I've decided to stay up late and finish off a film i started making the other night. Me finishing a film is a rare thing of late... but yes, I have completed it, but no.. its not very long, so I'm not sure its much of an achievement. So yes, if you have a spare 20 seconds please watch my little stop motion animation film entitled: "Annoyed..."

That was great. The animation was definitely on a par with similar animation using live actors. The only example I can think of is that weird "Tom Thumb" film from about 10 years ago. Can't recall it's full title, but it was feature length and very odd. What did you use equipment wise. I'm guessing from the proximity of the computer that it was a webcam capturing frames? Is the title a reference to using Macs?  |

thanks  I actually havn't seen much animation with live actors in it... but i'd like to hmm the title you mention sounds familiar.. anywhoo.. Naa it wasn't a webcam! It was my XM2 connected by firewire sat on the desk. No Dave the title is not a reference to using Macs! ha ha. Its the Msn noises and the typing that is really getting on the skull's tits, so he kills me. So if anything.. the title is a reference to Microsofts dam annoying msn noises! HA! ;D |

Just simple stop motion animation. I have a program that i can plug my camera into via firewire and then i just press space to capture a picture. So i'd move the skull a little, take a pic (press space) move it again a little take a pic.. move myself a little take a pic.. and so on and so forth. Took ages just to do 30 seconds! ha ha. So yeah all quite simple really, the pic taking/pressing space was nicely disguised by my typing! Glad you liked it moite.

I loved it!! Loads of posibilities with the software you were using but I imagine it would take time and patience. I thought the whole thing worked well.
Also a very good shout on the Tony v Paul short. VERY cool.
