After hearing peoples feedback on the 'What would you like me to make next' thread. I have decided to start workshopping 'Sweet Maria' with Paddy and a few actors after Christmas. If it goes well, it could be made next summer for about a £million.
The other contenders are the Tank Bullock series (which will be developed by myself and Fraser alongside Sweet Maria) and The Yorkshire Ripper project which would shoot in April. To be honest, Me (And Paddy/Mark) Feel like letting our comedy hair down and having some fun. After the emotionally draining year we've just had 'Maria' could be just the tonic. I for one would love to see Paddy doing some balls out comedy!

Very interesting news! The Sweet Maria idea has always sounded like it would be great fun ever since it was first mentioned way back at the beginning of the year (I think!). Comedy with a touch of horror and builders!
No doubt that Hot Fuzz will give Paddy's comedy talents some serious exposure... although I'm not sure how big his part is in the film.. or whether he is playing a comedy role or a straight role (from his brief appearance in the new trailer, and images of him blood spattered and wearing shades... I reckon he's a 'so serious he's funny' kind of character... maybe).
Perry Benson was also going to be in Sweet Maria wasn't he.... hope he still will be!

Top drawer news. If you need an authentic white van man for site foreground extra work, give us a smash. I've got all my own PPE including a bespoke high-viz vest! ;D
After following the progress of 'England for a year, I can't wait to keep tabs on this badboy. Best of luck.

DAVE... ADD THIS TO THE MAIN PAGE. Nah..... ;D Until things are utterly confirmed, I won't put them on the front page of the site. That's the good thing about the forums, people can keep abreast of Shane's decision making process on here and see how things change over time. People who are interested enough in Shane's work will surely be keeping an eye on the forums. Having said that, I have just changed the LATEST PROJECT page to include info on the Gavin Clarke documentary, so maybe I could add a brief bit about all this on there!
