Three of my short films that I have previously linked to on this board are going to be screened to an audience of punters, and then be put in a gallery where people can eye them up! Sounds ridiculous doesn't it.. and it probably is. It's all because the place where I work is busting at the seams with artists. You can't move in this place without getting a face full of art! So, an exhibition of staff art is being held locally in a gallery space.. and there is also an opening event where staff videos will be screened too. Here's the site for the thing.... look at all the punters who will be discharging their art onto an unsuspecting public! dshed.net/studio/projects/whatdoyoudo/people.htmlTake a look at the wide array of 'art' Some of it is good, some bad... but I will never reveal which is which in my opinion for fear of being beaten about the brow with a hugely dense block of art.

Thanks everyone...
I will let you know how the opening night screening goes... although I am actually working so won't be there myself. It's probably a good thing I won't be there for the screening because I imagine it could be quite uncomfortable for me! haha... especially as two of them are supposed to be funny. Imagine everyone sitting there in silence.. oh the embarrassment! Everyone else's stuff is just arty so people will be sat in silence whether they like it or not! No obvious signs of failure! haha

Just to reiterate, I wasn't actually at the screening of my film (in the end it was only my short Weston vid that was shown to the opening night crowd of 120 punters). ...but the feedback is in! It went down a storm by all accounts! Apparently it started with some small titterings in the audience with the opening bit about 'Bill'.. but as each joke came along, the laughter grew, until apparently it was genuinely riotous! When the 'artists impression' of the Bullet Train came on the full audience was in hysterics! Blimey! Wish I could have seen that reaction now! For those who don't know what I'm on about, you can watch the film in this thread HERE
