Happy birthday Shane. As a fellow christmas (ish) baby (29th), I feel for my fellow birthmates who suffer the "I got you one big present" scenario, which really means they waited for the sales. I can't complain, I got the thing I wanted 2 weeks ago, a fully-funded PhD studentship in Shane Meadows! Well, its not some This is Your Life biog thing, but a study into your use of place and regionalism within your films. Would like to talk to other SM fans about their thought on this so will be posting like mad during the next three years. Hope Dave doesn't start charging.
Hope you and all the other December babies enjoy their birthday.

Many thanks! 34 today and ready to Parteeeeeeeey. I've had a Beef Madras for brekky, having Thai for Lunch and Mexican for me tea. The British Legion is Calling my name and Shimy has had some extra kidneys and a liver installed so it should be a cracker. Lock up your daughters Uttox cuz Meadows is coming home!!!! The extra kidneys came in handy in the fight against alcohol poisoning, with the mix of Wine, Champaign, Sambuca Black, Tia Maria, and Beer  It was a cracking night shandy, quite surprised after the level of alcohol that people were sending your way you managed to stay standing, let alone play the wii!!! |
