hello and happy christmas and all that. i know i don't post here that often but im reet busy trying to make films and all that. i'm just of back home to uttoxeter for christmas tomorrow and i wanted to show you the latest thing i've made with my god friends dal, daz and joe. www.britfilms.tv/index.php?id=3996(**this may not work on macs unless you download the wmv plugin for quicktime**)It's called "Tømt & I" and was put together for the Britfilms 24hour challenge in Nottingham. seeing as we're pretty much the most land locked place in the country we decided to try and get the to the sea and back...we got lost but we found Skeggy eventually! this is all shot, edited and produced in one day with only the costume and names and a little back story thought up before we hit the road. let me know what you think cause we're sending it some festivals and to be honest i'm very proud of it. all the best, dave (Tømt)

Aha! Dave my good man. I have a copy of this movie already, and I have to say, it's good stuff indeed. All the guys involved in the making of this wonderful little short are very good film makers. Seeing this again - yeah, just backs up what I know about you guys. Tom.

Nice one, I really enjoyed that.
What's all this rubbish about London being full of wankers though ;D

Rushes Soho short film festival is taking place in April I believe and they are accepting entries from January. I'm gonna try and get a script made on my new camcorder myself for it once it arrives. www.rushes.co.uk

Nice short, Really enjoyed it! Fantastic compositions throughout and I loved the sound quality of the voiceover, it sounded almost like it was a transmission from a spaceship which i likey.
Great job.

Just been able to watch it (had to ge the wmv pluggin)
Superb little short! reminds me of my hard working Polish cousin who now lives here in the UK earning money for his mother. May i ask what nationality they're meant to be in the film?
Very funny, great composition and i love how you did it in a day! Very inspired film-making! It is a film to be proud of. Good luck with the festivals, let us know how it does!

Beautifully shot film, i really enjoyed it. Its fantastic that was made in 24 hours, I don't think you could have been any luckier with the weather, it gives a great representation of England.
Hope to see more of your films soon.

Really crisp picture and good images, funny but with an undercurrent of sadness. Very well done.

I liked this a lot. A really simple idea with some stunning visuals, love the phone call aesthetic. It really works. Excellent

You should see Dave and the lad's other work. They have some seriously good little movies in their cannon.
