I'm just thrilled Stephen came to the forum, I have so many questions I wouldn't know where to start, but since he's not here for an interview, I'll leave it at this: I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I think you are a brilliant actor. From the time I saw Snatch (you and Statham were the best, you really made it into a great film) you stuck out as such a great actor, I had to see everything you've done. Congrats on your success, you are definitly going places mate!

I agree Ste u did sucha gr8 job in snatch, chanel ma sister who plays Kel says it was gr8 working with you...she misses the whole "this is england" experience

Hey Charlotte! Chanel is your sister? Awesome stuff! Onto Stephen, wasn't he wonderful in Snatch? One of my favourite non-Shane films. I hear his performance is going to be killer in This is England!

Stephen Graham was in a film last night on channel 4. He played a yob who was messing around with the controls to an elevator, which had Paul McGann stuck inside.
If he is ever short of work, he should try and get a part in Eastenders, he would be ideal for the show.

That's that film called Down Time I think. I remember watching a few years back after seeing clips on TV, but I didn't think it was that good sadly. As far as I recall, I thought it was massively over the top. |

Messing with the controls of an elevator? I don't think I've seen that one, was he some sort of bad guy? I think I'll look for it, even if it is a bad movie.
He would be great in Eastenders, thank god that's one of the Brit shows I get here.

Thinking about it, I may even have it on video somewhere... hidden away. I don't remember the film clearly at all, but I'm sure it was a bizarre combination of gritty urban decay in a council tower block, combined with action film ideas. For me it just didn't seem that one could fit with the other.. i.e. The grittyness made all the action and hyper-yobbery seem really over the top. |

Hi Foxy, Yes my sister is in This is England she plays Kel...she said stephens acting in the film is that good its scary...he's amazing and she loved working with him

Hey Charlotte, Your sister is a lucky lady (girl...whichever  to have worked with Shane, Stephen, Andrew and everyone else in the cast. The film should be great, and I'm sure Stephen brought something special to the movie. He's such a great actor, for the very different roles he's done, I don't think I've seen him in anything that isn't completely believable! People have been asking the cast what the audition process was like, how was it with Chanel? How did she get the chance to be part of This is England? |

ma sister chanel is only 15 and shane meadows seen her in this acting group shes in. She got an audition but it wasnt a scripted audition and shes not so good at them...it was improvisation i think and she nailed it...im so proud of her this is wat shes always wanted to do. she had really long hair tho down her back and she had to shave it off to be in the skinhead gang. but she loves her new do! x
