TORONTO, ROME THEN THE ODEON LEICSTER SQ!!!!

Well the festivals are confirmed. We go for our world premiere in Toronto in about two weeks! (I'm still mixing the frikkin' sound!) We have a massive great big feckin 1000 seat cinema and top of the range High Definition Projection for our screening on the 13th September.

How things have changed since I first went to Toronto in 96. I travelled with a pack of monkeys by air mong and stopped about 6 hours from the city in a old peoples home. Now I go premium economy and someone meets us at the airport with me name on a board. Toronto is the only festival that has shown every film I have made to date and we so nearly didn't make it with TIE. But safe to say that we are on track for a complete finish on monday night!!!!!!!!

I must confess it is the strangest feeling to be still working on a film this close to showing it for the first time. Now I know how Harry Potter feels!

After Toronto, I am going to get some time at the Gym to try to get my Tits into a D cup for Rome in mid October, then it's off to London at the Odeon West End in Leicster SQ in early November as part of the London Film Festival. This would be a great chance for any of you guys to see the film ahead of the release (in MAY!!!!!!).

I am also posting Dave some more post production photo's from our ADR recording sessions with the cast in Nottingham a few weeks ago, so as Shaw Taylor says...

And Leicester Square in November eh? Sounds like a plan. You can often see Russell Brand faffing about down there, and the Sainsbury's Local just off Oxford Street always do a deal on economy eggs...

Well done Shane. I actually got blown out from Raindance today (BOO!), but well done on the acceptance. Would be great if a few of the bunch from here were in London to check out TIE - we could make an evening of it and chinwag movies.

fantastic news! i would love to be there, your films have gone from strenght to strenght so this one should be top of the pops. it will have to be pretty special to beat arfrb and dms though so fingers and toes crossed.
