I thought it was a good showing for Shane although Kermode is a bit too pretentious for me and him trying to understand the background to shane and his work I found a little middle-class condescending. Thats probably just me being a class warrior though Kermode has his moments. I think he's the only critic I listen to though. And saying he enjoyed Blades of Glory was pretty amazing. Even Kermode likes the Ferrel |

Straight after Mr Meadows peice he was in the studio talking to the host, and his pick of the cinema this week, or something he'd enjoyed was Blades of Glory. He said he went in expecting to pan it, hinting at his own known pretentiousness, but came out enjoying it. I think he's mellowing out a bit! |
