Hello.... some of you may not be aware that you can pretend to be Shane's friend by visiting: www.myspace.com/shanemeadowsI run that page too, so it's all still a part of this happy family. I have just changed the look of the page... see what you think, although all you really need to know is "blue bricks". Not sure why, I don't think there's a Meadows connection there. Don't forget to become friends with the official This Is England MySpace page: www.myspace.com/thisisenglandthemovie I also have a hand in that page (is there nowhere you can escape from me?!?!)... but it is primarily run by Warp Films. I just added the trailer to the page... yes, before Warp (very poor show! ) and I think I will have a go at tarting it up soon.

Also (and i don't think Dave knows about this) for those of you on the rather good myspace rival "Facebook" can join the "Shane Meadows: British Film-maker Appreciation Group!" on there, it is run by none other than moi. Just search for Shane Meadows at the bottom of the group page.. or try this link: www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2232826745

Hey Ryd.... I can't get that link to show a page. It says I have to log in. can you not have a peek without being a member of that site?
I have just tarted up the official This Is England MySpace page. More of those bricks! hahah Looks alright though. Red, white and blue theme throughout.

Hey Dave. I think you must have to be a member of facebook to see the groups, shame you can't just take a peek. I nicked a few of the photos from your site to put up on it, hope ya don't mind mate!
Facebook is pretty cool though Dave, you might like to join. Its certainly better than myspace, i'm sure it'll be just as popular soon too. I'll check out your new background now dave!

Could a few of you test out Shane's Myspace please: www.myspace.com/shanemeadowsThe reason is that a couple of people have sent messages saying they can't read any of the comments on the page... that the text is invisible or something. Very odd considering I made it to be black text on a light blue, partially transparent background... and it works on all the computers I've viewed it on (including a Mac! )

It looks sharp and crisp to me, no colour clashes or confusing effects, a really good job.

RyD22- telling people about facebook is much the same as offering heroin to people who don't know any better

How very odd!
I must say that when I updated to service pack 2 my Internet Explorer 6 went to shit. Firefox is best! Hopefully it is just the transparency business causing the problem. I will just have to get shot of it!
