Will TIE be eligible to compete with it not bing on general release till April/May..? Or is there a chance that the release may be pulled forward in light of winning the BIFAs..? After losing out with DMS (wrongly, though i do like the film) to 'My Summer of Love' there's a big chance it could take the top prize this year. My feeling is that it needs to be in the public conscience and make a lasting impact. Any film that that contributes to stopping the BNP making strides in the local elections has to be a good thing.
