well deserved. Is T.I.E a 2006 film though? i'm always confused by this...
it wasn't in the Film 2006 top 20 last night.. and i believe it should have been if it was a 2006 film, i guess it was voted by the public though.. and they wouldnt have seen it because it hasn't been released.. ignore me.. It was mentioned breifly though.

I honestly thought those two on film 2006 were the worst choises for johnathan to talk to.. particually the woman.. she knew nothing! and when asked "what do you think were the bad films of 2006" she said bloody Children Of Men! and then they rambled on about how hype ruined films in the cinema... what?! not really the question was it...

This Is England is 6th! Agreed about those guests on Film Review of the year.... and yes, especially the woman! She slagged up Children of Men, and also dissed up Pixar's Cars, saying it was like watching someone else play a computer game. Christ, she couldn't even understand the point of a film designed for children to understand. I won't be looking out for her future career. Her two efforts this year look shite.... but she'll get work for sure looking like she does. Unbelievable! |

Good to see Little Miss Sunshine at number 1, superb film. Strange not to see Pan's Laberynth in there though. I clicked on Little Miss Sunshine and get a review.. so then i clicked on this Is England expecting the same.. and i was linked to the BFI site where you can buy tickets for the screenings! ha ha.. kind of a bit late now.

I was just trying to recall what films she said she DID like..... then I remembered... The Holiday! hahahah good grief. I've not seen it, but is has been pretty soundly trashed by many reviews hasn't it? The trailer also looked utterly foul. I must find out who she was... perhaps start a hate campaign based only on her dislike of Children of Men and Cars, and her enjoyment of The Holiday. ;D |
