There's a nice mention (and a generic still) of THIS IS ENGLAND in the latest issue of Total Film – the article 'The Best Kept Secrets Of 2007' profiles some of the lesser-known goodies of the year ahead and can be found on Page 24.
Concreting his rep after 2005's (sic) staggering instant-classic DEAD MAN'S SHOES, Brit filmmaker Shane Meadows does it again. Against a post-Falklands backdrop of ska, miniskirts and strife, non-pro youngster Thomas Turgoose dazzles next to thunderous SNATCH star Stephen Graham in a breathtaking '80s-set skinhead gang drama. Funny, violent, wrenching, unmissable.
Like they needed to tell us that ;D
