I have to say that I'm not entirely sure I had anything to do with it.... but I won't let a little detail like that ruin my fun!

Mr BennyBullfrog... there are two spaces for blue badge holders just behind the Watershed. Free of charge and no time limit. There is also a big underground car-park next to the @bristol centre which the Watershed website claims is 400 metres away. It's about that.
Pointblank... the only real advice is to focus on it's education value with regards to bullying and racism. It's also worth pointing out it was intended for a 15+ audience... and the Rome fest showed it to a special youth audience didn't it? 14+ It's also worth mentioning other films that have a 15 cert and definitely seem to contain more dubious content. There are obvious gory examples, but I think Kidulthood is a good pointer. That film has the C word twice and just portrays teenagers as utter scum really.... it doesn't say their behaviour is bad either, if anything the film feels as though it is telling teenagers that this is how they should be behaving because all the 'cool' ones do.

I mentioned all of these points in my letter to the bbfc, which they ignored, but the Bristol case shows that these arguments are indeed worth making...

It seems that This Is England will showing at 3 cinemas in Bristol! The TIE website listed The Watershed and Vue, but it seems that Cineworld is also showing it! Nice. Thing is, both Vue and Cineworld are still advertising it as an 18 cert the complete knobs. They seem to be clueless about the great endeavour of The Watershed!
