I have the Royal Mail to rely on for my DVD today. No post before I left for work, so it better be there when I get home, or I'll be spitting feathers! (Never use that phrase, so thought I would give it a try).

Well PLAY are slacking here too. Most displeased when the postman left two flimsy letters at the door and no fucking DVD! Hope its not been nicked! Gutted I had tonight mapped out too.

I'm not sure I trust Play when they say they posted it last Thursday! If that is true, then it's the Royal Mail that deserve a spanking, but otherwise Play.com should change their name to Shite.Crap

The problem with PLAY is the 'free' postage - okay it should be a good thing, BUT there's no option to have them sent signed for and because they send them out with their branding on the jiffy bags we have dishonest posties, that can be a problem if you're unlucky or as I mentioned before the '2-5 day' option is always the 5th day or later for me. When I saw it had gone out on Thursday I thought it might land for Saturday, when it didn't come through then I thought it'd be odds on for today. There's nowt worse than when you're waiting on a parcel and the postie drops through bills and shite. Truly gutting. I hope its here tomorrow.

The only consolation I have if my DVD is not at home, is that I haven't really got time to watch any of it for a couple of days anyway.

Just popped into my local Tesco and not only is TIE 'DVD of the Week', but it's also No. 1 in the chart! Guess this means lots of pre-orders??? Great stuff! Suspect this is the first time one of Shane's films has figured in such a mainstream chart (in the top ten at least). Bit frustrated now....wish I hadn't ordered it by mail

tesco are advertising it on the telly, which i find just odd. The whole world has gone topsy-turvy! Surely the day that Tesco is advertising This Is England is the same day that The King of the Gypsies gets a no-questions-asked green light!?

this online buying caper is a crock of shit.....I'm sure the websites have the best intentions, but the crucial role in the chain is the delivery of said items......granted the royal mail are relatively reliable, but the courier services in this country are an incompetent bunch of wankers......
it's a shame that sometimes you are forced to buy online cos of the price difference......I've just ordered the second series off the wire off PLAY - 18 nicker delivered......guess how much it was in HMV......? 50 fucking pounds, I kid you not.....the robbing bastards.....
