New member saying HELLO!
I'm from Matlock (near Riber Castle- now sold off for private housing- much to my disgust!) but escaped to Burton on trent (nearly, winshill college) and eventually settled in Sheffield.
There are loads of good things to come out of Sheffield not only great actors (Sean Bean?) It is where great bands have originated like Human League, Moloko and more recently Arctic Monkeys.
The best thing of all is Hendersons Relish, although I can't understand why this isn't available with the pies on match days, somebody take note and sort it out!

im from Macclesfield, a place of opposites, i.e its mostly famous for Joy Division and the Macc Lads. Lived in Manchester for 10 years, now in sunny Stockport.I preffered moss Side. Out of interest who do you prefer out of the Macc lads and Joy Division.....? Imagine Macc Lads covering Joy Division and vice-versa. Large what did you do for Macc Lads? And are the rumours of them reforming and touring true?
