Good links mate, we need more folk pushing gavins music forward, otherwise we are gonna lose him to the music scrapheap where the likes of the stone roses and hope of the states are festering. If this is love has to be one of the best slo acoustic songs written??? Im sure you will all agree!!!

Gavin's put up some more stuff on MySpace - this time it's some songs he's recorded with Nick Hemming and his band The Leisure Society
Those of you lucky souls who have seen Clayhill will know Nick as their electric guitarist and sometime keyboard player - one of the good guys, too.
Also. Gavin promises some new Clayhill stuff too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems as though the listenable tracks on both Clathill's and Gavin's own MySpace have changed.
On the Clayhill page it seems there are two new tracks... although I maybe wrong due to my ignorance of the Clayhill back catalogue.
On Gavin's MySpace page, there are two tracks from his recent collaboration with The Leisure Society, and two new solo tracks. I'm not entirely sure I'm right on this, but go and check them out for yourself anyway!

Given the Hope of The States namecheck Kris may be interested in knowing that Mike Sidell (formerly of HOTStates) now plays violin for The Leisure Society. He will undoubtedly be contributing to the Gavin Clark & The Leisure Socety recording once Gav returns from his jet setting UNKLE tour.
