havent got much clayhill but lookin at my play count on itunes Gavin Clark's eclipsing every other artist and my music collections 40GB fair enough at least half of it's hip hop am not into anymore but lookin back at the play count bob dylans not worthy with only half the plays, I'm pissed up and rambling but to cut a long ramble short theres not alot that beats gavin clark and an acoustic guitar!!!

*RE-POST* On monday night I had the great pleasure of meeting Gavin Clarke in person after a performance of the band UNKLE in Nottingham. He's touring with them at the moment. Shane mentioned the live show from 22nd of December would make a great ending to the doco.
Maybe its been delayed for this to be edited?

Ryd is right. Once I found out about the gig at union Chapel back in December, I decided to wait until that was in the bag before attempting to complete the film.
Well at last I am proud to say that the edit is nearly complete. Gavin has seen a cut of the film and seems pretty chuffed with it, so me and Richard (editor) are aiming to finish it off over the coming week.
Still not quite sure how to get it out there. I've got a lot of smaller projects like this that I'm not quite sure how to release. Maybe I need my own virtual video store as I have lost count at the number of unreleased/uncompleted/unseen shorts I have made, and it would be great to find a nice way for people to see them.
The Living Room will be released in some format tho for sure as for fans of Gavins work, It will be a great insight into him and his massive hair. One option is to give away free online tickets with his forthcoming solo album...

Thinking the way forward is a download website for shorts and smaller projects this is going to be the way things are going any hows like music . Just the good old British inter thingy is a slow as a train on the wrong snow 1 day our Internet speed may just get a 2nd gear

There have been plenty of albums released in a CD and DVD package.
No doubt there are many obstacles as to why this isn't feasible though. Cost?

Without it, I might not, because it's not really the sort of thing I listen to. There must be quite a few people who would definitely go for it if the DVD was included. |
