Thank you Jill! I shall go have a quick sneaky peaky - actually, that sounds filthy now.

For anyone whose wondering....
The song from the trailer is called "Politic Amagni (La Politique, C'est Pas Bon)" and is by 'Amadou & Mariam" from the album 'Dimanche À Bamako'.
Well worth a listen. RichK put me onto it last year and I still play it loads!

Would love to hear your opinion on it, as I'm sure Jill would. It doesn't matter if you didn't like it, because if you didn't then you are simply wrong (as Jill and I well know). ;D

Neither Dave nor me were mad keen on the movie, though it's worth a watch-some gems in there. You're in for a treat with the Xmas Specia; Bubble's present story will break your heart

Nice one! I knew a man of your integrity would love Trailer Park Boys! Jill's right on the Movie... it's not all you would hope, but having said that, it's probably still the best TV to Movie transition a sitcom has ever made! I feel the Trailer Park Boys thread a callin' So Paddy must love TPBs too... I think I will go and stir up some Sunnyvale action on his message board! "You better chill oot there heavy-metal dick."

Never ever try to under-estimate me because you will be making a fatal, fatal error. I don't like liars, I don't like cheats. I don't like bullshitters, I don't like schmoozers, I don't like arse-lickers. haha

Back to The Office a mo... On the extras for series one (I think) members of the cast talk about how it was all scripted down to each pause and each reaction. I think Martin Freeman admits to his Oliver Hardy style moments. ah, now you mention it dave, i recall some such comment, so i concede my point... maybe then the atmosphere on set (the camaraderie, off-screen jesting etc.) plays into this idea of the unrehearsed... much like it seems to on shanes sets...

The Office is definitely a bit of a one-off though in terms of the realism being so tightly scripted. The fun on set thing certainly seemed to be happening on The Office.... well Gervais trying to put everyone off all the time and then screeching with hilarity was fun for him. haha

wrote this on another post a moment ago, reminded me of the above comment dave... leigh said that all art was the synthesis between improvisation and order... guess then that the office finds a perfect means of articulating that
