Hi there, im writing a research essay on various aspects of Nottinghams film culture and obviously focusing on Meadows for some of it. I was wondering if anyone (especailly mr. Meadows himself) had any views on the importance of Nottingham in Meadows films either for practicality, as a foil to highlight difference from london or as its own location? Why is the Midlands featured so heavily and how does the area help inform the films? How is the East midlands regional development funds (in a film context) helping the british film scene and in what ways is Nottinghamshires development distinct from other areas round the country. Any responces would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
