Yeah - that response to the comments has sure stirred a few hornets nests. Let me say this much - I don't think I'll ever be PC enough for the industry. I'm not a dog that can wag it's tail on command, and I've already felt the breath of one actor's agent asking me to take the film off IMDb. Muppets.

It's an agent who thinks his client should bury the film since he's gone on to do some high profile TV stuff. My response was to offer the agent out for a street fight. Maybe I could handle certain things better but that's showbusiness eh? Ha ha.

Uwe Bol actually offered to fight any critic who had slagged off his films in a proper boxing match. Some took him up on the offer but Uwe bashed the cack out of them! His films are terrible though. |

Bump - but for a good reason... Toronto filmmaker and writer, Jeffrey P Nesker just ran this little piece on the WILDsound website - budurl.com/wiso Icharus seems like such a long time ago now, especially since I'm a fully locked into working long hours on Nina Nobody. But it's always cool to see new appreciation showing up. You should also check out Jeff's work - he was one of the stand-outs at this year's Bootleg, and his writing is sharp. Tom. |
