Well he wasn't saying that when he was bigging up the Home Alone box-set when he was on MovieWatch! ;D I heard Meadows said that McCulkin had a distant relationship with his parents, which resulted in a difficult complex series of events, leaving him feeling alone with himself, in a difficult period, and unable to connect with anyone. Then the youngster went on to overcome his almost oedipus feelings for his mother, in a big rejoicing orgy of family love at the end. Allegedly.
