Don't watch a heavily compressed file on a shit computer screen with no external speakers and then they tell me it's a wank film, it's like pooing in my hair. Maybe you got a great copy and watched it in your delux home cinema and maybe Somers Town ain't your bag, but don't expect the person who spends his entire life crafting these babies and getting fuck all in royalties to pat you on the back for only pirating one of his collection. My policy on pirating/downloading. If you love a directors work, you support them. If the work is avaiable to buy, you buy it. If not (like rare stuff or never released etc) then use the internet to further fuel your passion for that person's work. I am not a hollywood mogul, I have to buy shit paper like everybody else and you just took a ply youth.

I know what your saying, I keep buying Come and See for everyone. I actually think I have single handedly made the price go back up fro 5 to 20 quid as HMV have worked out that it was too cheap!

Just to add to the curious case of missing Shane Meadows DVD's. I'm on my 3rd TIE due to lending, and I don't think I'll ever see my 24/7 VHS again! If you ever need a spare leaf of loo roll Shane, I'm happy to help

I'm currently sitting here trying to justify in my head buying the Raging Bull Blu-Ray. It'll be the third format I've owned it on and it's 'only' in black and white... ...But it's Raging Bull. Hmmm... Maybe I should wait for the UltraDef GigaThwock version which will be uploaded directly to your eyeball by a holographic Scorsese.

Watched Rocky Balboa on Blu Ray last night, the final fight was shot with HD cameras like a real pay per view event. Worked really well!

I can't get into Blu Ray. I tried watching Casino Royale and the number of menus popping up put me right off. Same with the Iron Man disc. Think I'll stick with standard DVD until some bright spark comes to the conclusion that hi-def should be simple, not more fancy menus and screens equals better.

I have a free copy of the Casino Royale BluRay and I have no idea what you mean. You operate Bluray discs in the same way as a DVD.... click Play Movie, and that's what it will do. There won't be menus popping up all over the film unless you press the menu button!

I tried that one. Five minutes later the menus flashed up again. And again. Pity really because there are a few Blu-Ray releases coming soon that I fancy the look of, but I'll stick with reliable standard def for now.
