Rather amusingly, Kermode twice in a row says, "Somers Town the new film by Guy Ritchie"... both entirely accidental.
Even after that he doesn't get it right.. on the third attempt it is; "Somers Town by Shane Ritchie".
Many laughs were had by all!

Andrew Collins, bless 'im, sitting in for Kermode on Mayo's show squeezes in a mention of Somers Town during the top ten films run down. ST's at numero 13 fact fans. Not bad for a film not showing everywhere and is 70+ minutes long.

Yes that was nice of old Collin(g)s!
I think the first time I heard of Smalltime was on the late nite movie review show, Collins and Maconie's Movie Club, where they bigged up Shane and the film.
Next day I got the VHS!
