I could be the oldest at an exceedingly young 53 with 2 sons (both with excellent movie taste i.e Mr Meadows) and 2 grandchildren but saw Somers Town for the 2nd time today in Liverpool, even more in love with it. Does anyone play a troubled youth better than Tom Turgoose and how gorgeous is the dreamy slo-mo sequence when they're pushing Maria home in the wheelchair?? It effortlessly represents the struggle of the migrant workers, the strength and dignity of Marek... I wanted to hide underneath the seat till the next show and watch it over and over!!!
