Now this is sh*t hot! I'll not go into "Alastair Burnett Spiting Image Mode" (cringe cringe, form form, lick lick) - but - I'm made up that you took the time to watch this Shane... and Reggie's made up too - and looking forward to working on the script for "Bosun Bill" with you... or at least getting some cash, a free barge trip and/or a 'borrow' of some camera equipment! Anyhoo - as to have I done acting... I was in an amateur fillum years ago - a remake of "A Christmas Carol" (how bleedin' original!) - I was the 'Ghost Of Xmas Past'. What happened? It got shelved... we'd all paid in our 'subs' to go to equipment costs etc. and one of the main men running it was a chronic alkie - robbed the cash and spent it on booze - seriously... I know it's farce, but I ain't making it up! I've done bits of 'stand-up' and performed music (with guitar) live... but that's it - the only other 'acting' after that one bit I mentioned above has been on my 'youtube' vids... so you can see why I'm pretty chuffed with any pos. feedback! By the way... I have done a new one (Gawd no) - my character 'Alan Beggaritt' which is my spoof on the 'Talking Heads' series by Alan Bennett which I am a huge fan of... I hope that that comes across in my vid rather than me be seen to insult, it's my tribute to Alan's excellent work - plus my excuse to do my (passable) impersonation. Anyhow - if mithered... please click the link below: Click Here & Prepare To Be UnderwhelmedAny comments appreciated. N. P.S. Man, I'm still chuffed at the comments there Shane - well made up... what a gent!

Many thanks! I have to say, I was part inspired by the 'Shane's Shorts' series... I wonder how many people have seen 'em and thought: We can all do that... But never had the bottle/time/interest/material to do such. Now that's where I'm different... I thought... well, you've got a cameraphone, you go on youtube - get some stuff uploaded... Mind you, at te time I didn't realise I'd be doing close to 100 vids! Cheers for that comment Morell - appreciated... I admit I've done a lot of cr*p stuff also, so to get such pos. feedback is a bonus - and it takes the sting away from my audtion to get on "Britain's Got Talent" (which I failed miserably at). N.

Mine too - but that's down to a pie I've eaten for dinner - pastry always does that to me! Just had two of them there 'Faux' Settlers type things... the Tesco cheap version... and I had to get mint flavour as they'd no 'fruity' ones!!! A few belches hopefully will mean I an go for a swim and do a bit at the gym after... otherwise, it's just me sitting here all lardy and *rsing about on the internet! N. P.S. Cheers for the feedback - appreciated.

Just posted this on that vid. in the 'comments' section... okay, part 'name-dropping' but also part 'chuffedness' and part acknowledgement... I can't see me doing an 'Oscar' speech sometime soon, so this'll be the next best thing: Now I'm over the moon here! Posted this on Shane Meadows' Official Forum and got this message back fom the man himself!!!
"That is mental youth! Would love to see some scenes if you can realize them as It feels like we could have a successor to Garth Marengi down that towpath...."
Cheers once again for the comments Shane - appreciated - don't think I'll win any awards for this vid. unlike your good self with 'This Is England' - but you never know yer luck in a lottery as they say!
N. Ah such a pity that I did this after 'This Is England" - I could've been sat at the next table in the café with chips & gravy... nochalantly reading an argos catalogue and shouting out "Jesus! Have ye seen how much these b*ggers charge for ruddy extension cords?!" or something qually random!

HAHA IF YOU CANT GET BIGGINS ILL DO THE CHEIF OF THE CANAL! GADGE! Whayhey - the lad himself! Howyeh Gadge? Okay - I'll let you know should 'Biggers' reject... hope you can do 'camp' though, otherwise it'll not be the same... An example: Bosun Bill: Well Sandy, I've just seen a couple of tearaways throwing stones at my 'gypsy kettle' tied astern to the "Saucy Nell". [ that's his barge's name]Sandy: Not the one with the daisies painted on it... the one I like that's got that 'Laura Ashley' feel about it?
Bosun Bill: Sadly indeed yes... and they've scuffed it!
Sandy: Oh thats JUST awful! What did you do?
Bosun Bill: Well, it was on tatler's bridge, so I carried on to moor up a bit further on... and by the time I'd done all that and gone back to rebuke 'em they'd scarpered!
Sandy: Ooh - hang on a minute... I know a security guard who works at the warehouse opposite - maybe they've been captured on CCTV! I'll give him a quick bell, he still owes me a favour for that Shepherd's Pie I made him the oher week!Hey now see how good this is looking? You've got the 'olde worlde' feel of a canal... modern techologiy to aid crime solving... decorative 'folk art' and 'camp comedy' which is all the rage! So Gadge - can you deliver do ye reckon? N.
