Doing a feature film in a few weeks, called Field Trip. We shot part of this a couple of years ago but timing and hairstyles and such meant we couldn't shoot it all. So now we're doing the whole thing over five days in August! The script's improved, we're shooting on some great kit, and the cast is tremendous. The director's a bit of a bellend, but everyone else is alright. If you liked Dirty Egg, you should enjoy this one too. We're after help with some funding, so if you're of a mind to help, the address is www.indiegogo.com/Field-Trip -- the minimum donation is one American dollar and every penny helps and is appreciated! There's perks for donating and everything. Some lovely forum members have already been wonderful with contributions and plugs and other aspects of the film.

Thank you all! I really, really appreciate the support and generosity from you folks in these trying times. Dave's right, there will be sides splitting. Does anyone here have a fancy modern phone that reads QR images? If so, does this one work? I'm thinking of flyposting it around Birmingham.

Oddly, I've just been listening to a podcast about indie film-making and they say that you should have a particularly big push for these indie-finding sites in the last 7 days before the deadline.
Something to so with people looking at it way in advance and thinking.. "well, they've still got 20 days left" or whatever, so they wait it out to see if other people will fund it up to the max first... the plan being they will return to check before the deadline expires. But of course, most people forget to go back.

I will deffo put some monies into this when I'm back from hols.
I'd love to be involved in the shoot if at all possible? I read the first few pages of the script and loved it.
Good luck!

I just posted a message about this on the internal intranet where I work... the Watershed Arts Centre in Bristol.
You never know, there maybe some willing donors, so I thought it was worth a mention.

Cheers for the contributions and support, folks! A bit of bad news. One of the actors had a sudden death in the family and couldn't do the weekend, so the shoot has been put back to the 26th-29th of this month. Bit gutted, but the plus side is it means three weeks of prep time. Although the bad news came about three hours after I'd had my hair cut very stupidly for the film, so I now have three weeks of unnecessarily walking round with this: Ryd, definitely would love to have you involved on the shoot if you're available. Jill, I've only just seen your PM -- cheers! Your help would be much appreciated and needed with that sort of stuff, I wish I'd seen it ages ago. I'll get back to you about it soon.

Quality hair action!
Sorry to hear about the reason for delaying the shoot.

Paddy, unfortunately I'm away in Iceland 22-28 August, but relatively free up until 20/8 so if there's anything I can do in the prep weeks, happy to help out. I'll also keep 29/8 free for the ruthless exploitation of my driving and sandwich making skills if needed

Oh no, that's unfortunate about the dates. Six days? When my mum goes to Iceland, she's back home in a couple of hours, and that usually includes her having a look round the Co-op and second hand shops as well. I'll exploit the hell out of you on the 29th if you're not too knackered from the jetsetting!
