Not quite "Hix Nix Stix Pix" but Variety has always had its own bizarre bizarre lingo. I blame cocaine. The scribe is a long-term contributor to "Sight & Sound", btw.

The States never really "got" the Roses, much in the same way they haven't (thus far) "got" Shane. Ho hum.
