Nice one Ryd, glad to see your collection is complete. Probably see OUATITM released again on dvd soon with even more extras haha. And there's us two chasing it about for the last week or so I bet it's issued single disc when it gets a re-release; many of the companies are stopping extras on UK-specific DVDs. A good pal of mine makes featurettes and records commentaries for DVD releases and he's told me the work has dried up, as none of the companies want to pay for them. It's the way the market is going - everyone wants DVDs at rok-bottom prices, so you'll see more and more cheaper DVDs of old films, with little in the way of extras...

this upsets me. I think the best thing about DVDs is the fact you can get extras. Well at least i got the two disc version ... hasn't arrived yet mind...

There are currently a couple of people seelling it on Amazon.. £6.99 and £8.49. The idiot still trying to flog it for £24.99 is still on there too.
Might be a good idea to email the seller to check it is the 2 disc edition before buying though.

Have just won the two disc edition on Ebay! When it arrives I will have every single officially released film by Shane Meadows in by big sweaty hands!
Can't wait to it again coz it was the first Meadows film I ever saw and did actually enjoy it. It wasn't until DMS though that I wanted to know what this Meadows chappie was all about. I could hardly believe at the time that the same person had made both films. I know the story now.
Itching to see the Shane's World shorts too!
I ♥ Shane!

Very true! I now have the DVD in my possession and disc two is incredible! Now I know who Tank Bullock is! ;D And the eyebrow sketch! Fantastic!
I found the prayer at the beginning and end quite moving. I know it was a bit tongue in cheek but was still quite powerful.
I also found the rehearsal footage difficult to watch due to the cast changes. Those guys thought they were going to be in the film!

dave- controversial! BLASPHEMY infact!! paddy can do anything he damn well pleases.. i really rate iffans but was dek not slightly one dimensional as a result of such a farcical portrayal? ok so he was kind and loving and the antithesis of carlyle but would such a cutey have really gone for either of those two misfits? I may well be wrong but i reckon paddy could have embraced all that farce, whilst still creating a more textured, complex character... something the film was crying out for? that said the "say hello to my little friend" scene in the garage when carlyle walks in, had me laughing so hard i was gasping for breath a night or two ago
