Shane, I have organised a one day arts fest in Walsall that you can see on www.shrewdmove.net. The day is a mix of film, installation and performance art and there is a free art free raffle. People can buy a drink and get a free raffle ticket and may win some art work. I am looking for collector's items for the raffle and wondered if you could create something for the event please. I was wondering if you would be able to draw a picture of Ian Brown and write something relating to the documentary film about the Stone Roses and sign it please. This could then go into the raffle as a prize. I hope that you are interested in this idea and may create something. Thanks anyway. Carolyn

When do you need it by Carolyn? I'm a little snowed under at the min but could maybe get my painters smok and easel out in the coming weeks!

My God, sorry for the late reply, I've only just seen your response. Special thanks to the Great Man Himself from Walsall. The event is 22 June but I would like something as soon as you are able as then it is included in the promotion and I can promote the documentary at the same time as I am promoting the fest. I was thinking about trying to contact Ian Brown to draw you and write a little note too :-) I can message Dave on here to give him my address if that helps. Thank you so much, this would be a great catch for the fest and I am sure will be a collector's item :-)

Another long shot. I am planning another Walsall Arts Fest next summer. I wondered if the Great Man himself would be interested in us meeting up to discuss his work and some of the questions that it has left me with. If there is an external email outside of this that I could send some of my ideas through on that would be good. I know that there is Warp Films, is the best way to make contact? The intention is to make a short film which would show at next year's WAF.
